Rose Photography
Rose photography has been known to inspire poems, sonnets, music, paintings, and perfumes. Roses and rose photography have also inspired the lover within everyone and this sheer love drives people to actually become the gardener, and grow roses at home or buy them from florists. Rose photography is for everyone who loves roses and is often considered to be some of the most sensual, charming, lovely of all floral images – filled with lust, and decadence.
Since roses inspire feelings of romance in most people, these flowers are often displayed on counters and tables in many restaurants and, furthermore, are usually placed next to a lamp stand or small evening light to create a romantic atmosphere in dining areas – their portraits are hung on the walls to enjoy long term.
Rose photography is the most popular when compared to other flower photos, followed by lotuses, orchids, tulips, irises, violets, lilies, orange flowers, pansies and sun flowers. Although roses come in many colors and sizes, rosebuds may be the most popular form of a rose. Roses are boundless in their variety, beauty and meaning in our lives. Roses can be said to be a synonym of love. Roses have been the first choice of many artists depicting not only the beauty of nature but the beauty of women and beauty of minds as well.
Roses were considered special by the Romans and they were grown for pleasure and for use at wedding celebrations, as medicine, and to make perfumes and fragrant oils. Roses were in such high demand during the seventeenth century that royalty considered roses or rose water as legal tender, and they were often used as barter and for payments. Is it any wonder that rose photography continues to be so popular?
